THE INCREDIBLES
What do you do when you are not allowed to be who you are? When the one thing that makes you special isn’t allowed to be used?
This week, in our premiere episode, Alan and Craig take on some heavy concepts about identity, family, responsibility and being caught up in your glory days. The two also share what movies or events led to their love of cinema and why they started the podcast.

I’ve always been repulsed by the Incredibles for a lot of reasons, but I enjoy y’alls enthusiasm for it. The “what makes a hero” approach is definitely a more positive way to look at the film. Obviously the “choose your family” vs “nostalgia for the past” themes that are baked into the movie is a strong narrative hook, It’s just not a movie for me. Episodes 2 & 3 are more my jam. It’s a fun show though, and I’ll be interested in any episode you guys do. You almost lost me with the endorsement or the human embodiment of colon cancer John Cena, but I’m looking forward to what comes next.
Just remember…Alan thought John Cena could do it…not me!
Very entertaining 1st episode. Longing forward to E2.
Thanks for listening!
